Erin! How is this going? Just thought I'd check in and let you know I was here and visiting... more than merely lurking!

Re-do looks great Erin...so different. Expecting lots of blogging of UFO's getting finished :) Seriously it looks terrific. i wish my place looked as neat...would you belive I cant find a thing! Good suggestion for the dry sink. I have what is called a 'dumb waiter' silly isnt it, but its on wheels and its great to move round...though I havnt seen the top of it for some time now (G)

Good luck on your re-do. Seems like it always ends up taking more time and costing more than we originally thought, but you are doing great on your budget. I find it helps to just sit in the room and think about where to put things too - the one dimensional graph paper layout never works for me. Looks great so far, so it must be just the trick for you in your planning.

One suggestion on your dry sink..put it on wheels. Then when you are sewing and want to use your design wall you can easily move it out of the way. When at the desk, you can roll it back to the design wall.

This looks so nice & neat . . . totally unlike my own shambles! Where are you now? We just got back from VA.Clayton renewed our vows for us for our 30th. He has a cute little congregation back there. He completed his BA and he & Sarah are both beginning their Masters. Is this the same kid I had to fight with to do high school? He finally just settled on a GED. I think he's doing what he's supposed to & that makes a difference. I never hear from anyone.I used to see Alice on Facebook, but haven't for awhile. Thought we were going to see Lynda back there, but they said it was too far. We went to their place last time we were back there. Oh well. What's up with Cindy? Is this her posting above, in which case I've misspelled her name. Well, this is beautiful!!!! Dawn

Looks wonderful, Erin! That's how I planned my sewing room too - on graph paper with cut-outs I could move around. Really helps you get a feel for the room, doesn't it?
