Scrappy Double Irish Chain in Window Frame
This started as a leader/ender project from Bonnie’s Quiltville.com site. I finished it up on 24 August 2006. This was a practice piece for the PC Quilter–one of the first pieces I did. I used an all over simple leaf design from Ellen at Munnich Designs.
I didn’t get the rows to nest as close as I would have liked and it looks sort of puffy in spots, but once the piece was washed and put in the window, it had that “antiquey” quilt look so you didn’t even notice. I sold it in less than a month in our booth in the local craft/antique mall.
