We lost a treasured furry quilt inspector this week
On Monday our beloved pet, Muffin, passed away. She’s been a part of the family for almost 15 years.

DD-Jessica was seven when she got Muffin.

Muffin was the haughty queen of the household and the best cat we’ve ever had. She was never any trouble and always very neat–except for the two litters of kittens she delivered under DD-Jessica’s bed instead of in the nice boxes we’d prepared for her. We will miss her.

Even Ludo seemed a little sad that day.

So sorry about Muffin. We’ve had our two cats, a brother, Bo and sister, Priss for years and years since our 15 year old was three. They aren’t inside cats because my oldest DD is allergic but I will grieve mightily when Bo dies. He is the lover and I will be guilt-ridden that he couldn’t have lived an easier life in the house. I would be the crazy old cat lady with about 14 if I weren’t married.
I’m so sorry about your kitty. I went through that heartbreak last June.
They become family and it makes it so hard when they pass.
quilty hugs to you and your family.
I’m also very sorry about Muffin. I hope Ludo and the rest of the family feels better soon, although I know one never really “gets over” losing such a dear companion.
I was just web ring hopping & found your blog. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I hope that the fun memories will help to ease the pain.
Hugs,
Sherry
I am sad to hear about Muffin. We had our Rimshot with us for almost 19 years and losing them is like losing a family member. Now we have 5! I guess it takes 5 to make up for her! We love the five new ones (not really that new now, I suppose). I found you through the blog ring. I am sending you good wishes and hope your sadness doesn’t last too long. Maybe Muffin will continue to visit you. I know Rimshot still visits us!
